Crucchi Gang
Eigentlich war es nur eine spontane Idee, die an einem gemütlichen Abend nach einem Bob Dylan-Konzert entstand: Musikmanagerin Charlotte Goltermann, Element of Crime-Sänger und Autor Sven Regener sowie Francesco Wilking (Die höchste Eisenbahn, Tele) saßen zusammen und dachten unter anderem zurück an Leander Haußmanns Film Warum Männer nicht zuhören und Frauen schlecht einparken können, für den Goltermann 2007 die Musikberatung machte und bei dem James Last als Komponist fungierte. Als sich Haußmann noch einen italienischen Song wünschte, fiel ihr Wilking ein. Der fand die Idee spitze – und gefühlte fünf Minuten nach der Anfrage lag der Song auf dem Tisch.
Nach diesem Abend war die Crucchi Gang geboren: Crucchi, das ist ein eher abwertender Begriff aus dem Italienischen für die Deutschen. Die Gang, das waren auf dem Debüt Musiker:innen wie Sven Regener, Isolation Berlin, Sophie Hunger oder Clueso. Alle sangen sie Material aus ihrem Katalog auf Italienisch. Die kleine Idee wurde zu einem großen Erfolg, die mittlerweile auch im zweiten Album Fellini mündete. Erneut gab sich dafür im Studio in der Berliner Milastraße die deutsche Pop-Prominenz die Klinke in die Hand: JEREMIAS, Tocotronic, Lina Maly, Dota, Tristan Brusch, Antje Schomaker sind nur einige davon. Und umso toller, dass Wilking im Gala-Set-Up neben Band und Bläsern auch diverse Gäste aus dem Crucchi Gang Universum zum diesjährigen Golden Leaves Festival mitbringt!
